About the DEI Boxx and the Team That Created It
DEI Boxx Team
The DEI Boxx tools were developed by Kari Heistad and the team of Culture Coach International (CCI). Culture Coach has been providing consulting, training and tools in the space of diversity, equity and inclusion since 1998. With clients that cross industries, sizes and sectors, Culture Coach has worked to provide practical solutions to the teamwork issues that arise with diverse and multicultural teams. Over the past few years, clients have asked for tools that can be used on their own, as a supplement to existing DEI programs or as a follow up to training programs. Leveraging the expertise developed working with clients creating custom tools, the Culture Coach team created the tools found here as part of the DEI Boxx.
Diversity Library
The Diversity Library was the first product and it brings together information on diversity months, holidays and manager discussion tools on diversity topics. Designed as a package to be placed on a company’s intranet site, the Diversity Library is an economical way to provide quick resources for employees to learn about DEI topics.
Diversity Medic
The Diversity Medic product line is a comprehensive suite of materials that uses self-led learning concepts to empower employees, manager and leaders to learn at their own pace about DEI and Teamwork related themes. Embedded within the learning materials are suggested micro-actions for how the material learned can be used in their daily work. With different options for how to apply key concepts, everyone can chart their own application of the content while overall continuity is provided within the theme.
